HISTORY

Trans Tech Electric, L.P. was founded in January 1983. It's main focus is to provide quality service and products to clients associated with commercial and industrial electrical work, highway lighting, traffic signals, signage, and associated traffic and communication applications.

In 1983 the company started with six employees and a sales volume of $1.3 million. Today, Trans Tech Electric, L.P. employs over 300 people throughout Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, and Texas on a broad range of commercial and traffic projects with a sales volume of over $50 million. Despite their rapid growth, Trans Tech has been able to continue to provide quality service while taking on more challenging and expansive projects. The employees of Trans Tech pride themselves on their ability to take a difficult project with a tight schedule, and complete the project on time and within budget.

The mission of Trans Tech Electric, L.P. from its inception has always been to be involved in the areas of electrical construction and highway specialty construction as they relate to transportation systems (Trans) and high tech applications (Tech). Therefore, the company was named Trans Tech Electric, L.P.

Trans Tech continues to look for new challenges with larger projects in areas never before approached. It is our belief that the variety of smaller projects completed in Trans Tech's early history prepared them for the more recent expansion into larger and more complex projects.

Trans Tech takes great pride in its ability to assemble the necessary team members to facilitate in the overall engineering, management, support, installations, and testing required to provide the owner with a cost-effective system which meets the functional integrity of all the project plans and specifications.

The overall company operating philosophy as it relates to specific projects is to take larger projects and break them down into smaller components (tasks). This allows an overall team concept to be utilized where we bring together all the talents of our people to help draw the project together and provide a successful completion.
